Our newborn owl hats really make us cry, “Wooo-whooooo!” These knitted hats have big eyes with brown  button pupils, ears with yarn sprouting out the ends almost resembling pigtails, a yellow beak, and braided tassles…. one question: how could we see this and NOT  in love? The owl’s big eyes make US googly-eyed. The owl has taken the fashion world by a storm– this is evident in rings, bracelets, or necklaces with owls on them, in handbags, shirts, and much more….it was only a matter of time before the owl reached the baby world of fashion! And we admit the flame of the owl fad has definitely sparked in our boutique! These unique treasures of hats are perfect for a frosty spring morning at the park, an afternoon stroll in the stroller, or even just a relaxed day with friends or family members.

Love is in the air–Valentine’s Day approaches! Here at BabyDolls we definitely are in Valentine’s Day mode all year round (we couldn’t wait for December to be over as we were anxious to put up our LOVE pink and red window displays). Our pink flower headbands are a fun way to say “Je t’aime!” These stretch headbands that come in a variety of colors have a pink rose on the front with a rhinestone center. Imagine “Glee”s Sue Sylvester’s in her jumpsuit. In baby form. Glitzed out.  We’re not going to lie, when we first received the shipment of them we started squealing at how insanely cute they are. These snowy white jumpsuits come with gold lace-embroidered appliques along the pockets, hood, and along the bottom of the legs and arms. They also come in black with fuschia pink appliques in addition to this fab-u stretchy matching head band with a satin bow.  We better stop blogging now before we faint… all this “preciousness” is too much to handle!! We are DYING to tell you about our newest, jaw-dropping piece of jewelry. This simply exquisite hand designed necklace is comprised of flowers the color of The Emerald City from the Wizard of Oz on one side and strings of gorgeous iridescent beading against a goldish-tone brown background on the other side. It sparkles and shines from miles away and is perfect to wear at events like galas, parties, art openings, or plays.  It’s truly the type of piece someone as chic as Carrie from Sex and The City would wear! So don’t be offended if you’re at an event and people can’t make eye contact with you.. they’re not being rude, they just can’t take their eyes off this show stopper! First at BabyDolls, then on the cover of Vogue? Well, we sure think so!

Imagine a baby toddling around in a onesie. Now imagine a baby toddling around in a onesie decked out with a diaper cover adorned with three layers of accordian-style ruffles. Which image is cuter?  The second one, no doubt. Our ruffle butt onesies add that extra “umph” to onesies that are just sort of “mehh”. These hand-crafted beauties are simply charming and not to mention the ruffles are super duper cute and come in an array of patterns. Below is a delicate soft pink rose color top ruffle accompanied with a powder blue stars ruffle.  They come in assortment of  colors from lilac to light asparagus green. If you have a boy- you need not worry we actually have you or him covered too as they also come in cowboy and horse  patterns to add a little fun to your little one’s ensemble. They really finish off an outfit and add some pizzazz to an ordinary onesie.

We’d like you to say hello to the newest (and tiniest!!) member of the BabyDolls team: Amaris Soumaya Rios!  We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful new addition to the family. She truly is a blessing!!   Check out these pics of her only 7 days after she was born–who knew her fashion career would start so early!
